Sale 1076, Lot 2041, United States Hunting Permit Multiples$1.00 1934 Hunting Permit (RW1). Mint N.H. bottom right plate no. 129202 block of six, deep rich color, phenomenally well-centered

EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED PLATE BLOCK OF THE FIRST FEDERAL DUCK STAMP. A TRUE RARITY IN THIS EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION AND CERTAINLY ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN.

The design of this stamp was done by Jay "Ding" Darling based on the etching Mallards Dropping In. This is the ultimate Hunting Permit plate block as well as being a key item for a topical bird collector.

According to Bob Dumaine, dealer and noted authority on duck stamps, there are perhaps less than fifteen No. RW1 plate blocks of this caliber in existence. With 2002 P.S.E. certificate
