10c Green (68). Tied by circle of wedges cancel on 3c Pink on Buff entire (U59) to Springfield, Vermont, bold strike of black "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands Nov. 13" (1867) circular datestamp, light red "HAWAIIAN/STEAM/SERVICE" oval handstamp, edge stains and small tears, entire rejoined at edges, 10c with creases along top margin from placement at edge of cover, still Fine, though the 3c envelope stamp was superflous, the sender may have been under the impression the 2c ship fee had to be paid, not realizing it was no longer required with the introduction of steam service in September 1867, ex Honolulu Advertiser, with 2005 P.F. certificate
