FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE USE OF THE 2-CENTAVO GUERRILLA POSTAL SERVICE ISSUE ON A COVER FROM THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR.

During World War II, this stamp was issued for use on the island of Mindanao. Only 500 stamps were printed. 36 covers are known, but many are unaddressed or of obvious souvenir character. This cover, actually used postally from the provincial governor, is a great rarity.

Accompanied by an American Philatelist article discussing this issue. Also accompanied by unused vertical pair of this issue, small flaws.
