(E9), similarly tied, on cover to the Empire State Building in New York, purple "Received in bad condition at San Francisco, Calif. Damaged in transit" three-line handstamp, with original enclosure asking to become member of Collector's Club, cover resealed at left where damaged during transit, some slight wear and 20c small flaws, Very Fine, attractive use
