VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-HOGSHEAD 1909 ISSUE. ONLY FOUR ARE RECORDED IN THE PRIESTER CENSUS.

We have offered one other of the four recorded examples -- in our Scarsdale sale. That other copy was also repaired with portions of the design painted in. The stamp offered here is a very presentable and collectible example of this rarity.
