FINE AND VERY RARE SOUND PAIR OF THE 2-CENT TYPE III ROTARY ISSUE IMPERFORATE VERTICALLY.

A review of Power Search revealed only two other examples (one a strip of three with faults) offered in our sales since 2000. With fewer than 25 pairs believed to exist, this variety is vastly rarer than, and should not be confused with, the 2c Ty. III Rotary issue in a vertical pair imperforate horizontally. We believe it is undercatalogued in Scott.
