EXTREMELY FINE GEM APPEARING USED EXAMPLE OF THE $1.00 TRANS-MISSISSIPPI, WHICH MANY BELIEVE TO BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL 19TH CENTURY UNITED STATES STAMP.

This stamp has long been considered one of the finest used examples of the $1.00 Trans-Mississippi extant. Previous certificates, from the Philatelic Foundation in 1995 and 2004, and from Professional Stamp Experts in 2011, have all opined that the stamp was genuine, with no flaws. The most recent P.F. certificate, from 2013, states that the guideline is abraded.

With copies of 1995, 2004 P.F. and 2011 .P.S.E. certificates. With 2013 P.F. certificate
