3c Mississippi Territory, Large Die Proof on Wove (955P1a). Die sunk on 190 x 135mm card with full die sinkage, deep rich color, back with Bureau handstamp "Engraver's Stock Proof. Authorized by." with control no., "C" security punch taped in place and "Fenton" in pencil (vignette engraver), acetate leaf taped to bottom of proof on back, Very Fine and extremely rare, believed to be the only Large Die Proof of this issue in collector hands, ex Livingston, with 2008 P.F. certificate, listed in Scott but unpriced on Wove paper
