Smith Envelope Manufacturer, 137 William St. N.Y. 50" on backflap and "U.S. Postage Stamps 50 (Cents)" on front, blue printing on white 65 x 34mm envelope, with patriotic designs of flag at upper left and shield at upper right, minor paper bends, Very Fine, a beautiful example of this patriotic design, second with "T. R. Dawley; Manufact'r, Reade & Centre Sts. (N.Y) 20" imprint on backflap of 65 x 32mm envelope, "U.S. Postage Stamps 20 cts." on front, minor soiling, otherwise Very Fine and rare, last is unidentified 61 x 34mm white envelope with "U.S. Postage Stamps. 30 cts." on front, blank back, Very Fine, a wonderful group of these rare Civil War postage envelopes
