3c Rose (65). Two, bright color, tied by "SHIP-LETTER" straightline handstamp on cover to Economy, Nova Scotia, back with blue "T. J. Jones & Co. Boston, Jun. 27, 1867" handstamps, St. John's, Amherst and receiving backstamps, somewhat defective incl. opened on three sides and repair at top, still an unusual use, mailed directly aboard the ship to New Brunswick, the handstamp was probably applied on arrival in New Brunswick, accompanied by signed note from Ashbrook who also signed the cover, ex Starck and Krug
