5c Yellow Brown (205). Cancelled by cork, "Lawrence Kans. Aug. 15, 1887" circular datestamp on Geo. L. Beam, Stamp Dealer's corner card cover to the U.S. Consul in Reykjavik, Iceland, postage deficiency handstamp, five backstamps incl. New York, Copenhagen, Reykjavik, triangular "Dead Letter Office Jun. 22, 1888" marking, purple "Return to Writer" pointing hand handstamp, light soiling and some edgewear, still Very Fine, a very unusual use from a stamp dealer in Kansas to the U.S. Consul which ended up in the Dead Letter Office and was eventually returned to sender, ex Gallagher, with 2004 P.F. certificate
