New York, Copenhagen, Reykjavik, triangular "Dead Letter Office Jun. 22, 1888" marking, purple "Return to Writer" pointing hand handstamp, light soiling and some edgewear, still Very Fine, a very unusual use from a stamp dealer in Kansas to the U.S. Consul which ended up in the Dead Letter Office and was eventually returned to sender, ex Gallagher, with 2004 P.F. certificate
