Paid Mar. ?" circular datestamp, red "12" credit handstamp, blue boxed "Aachen Franco" handstamp, transit and receiving backstamps

VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE USE OF AN EARLY STAMP DEALER'S ADVERTISING COVER TO SWITZERLAND.

According to research by Mr. Belasco, Kline's Emporium was run by John W. Klein (spelling differs from how it is printed on the cover). Under the name A.C. Klein, he published the first stamp catalogue in the United States in 1862.
