Strip of three, unused (no gum), bright color, tiny tear and toned spot at top left of top stamp, bottom stamp horizontal crease, otherwise Very Fine, scarce strip of three, it is believed that most examples of this error originate from a part sheet purchased by a collector at the Richmond Va. post office, Scott Retail as pair with gum
