1c-10c Louisiana Purchase, Large Die Proofs on India (323P1-327P1). Complete set, die sunk on approximately 194 x 148mm cards with full die sinkage, spectacular colors, blue control numbers on back, trivial toning specks on 5c and 10c are barely noticeableVERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE COMPLETE SET OF LARGE DIE PROOFS FOR THE 1904 LOUISIANA PURCHASE ISSUE.
Very few sets are known -- we are aware of perhaps one other complete, full size set and we have not offered one since our 1982 Rarities of the World sale. This set is fresh and highly exhibitable.
