Bottom imprint and plate no. 27 block of twelve, original gum, h.r. in top corners and selvage, other ten stamps Mint N.H., radiant color, perfs to touching on only one side on most with a few completely clear, fresh and Very Fine, a desirable plate block of this patent, Scott Catalogue states "perforated 1861 trial colors are valued with perfs cutting into design on two sides. Well centered examples are extremely scarce and sell for more", Scott Retail as singles with no premium as a plate block $600.00
