Die sunk on 68 x 100mm card with full die sinkage, intense shade, minor toned spot on card, otherwise Very Fine, an extremely rare large die trial color proof of the 1c with full die sinkage, Don Evans notes in his book on the 1c Franklin that he has no records of a full large die trial color proof, we have sold only one other die sunk example, which was ex Finkelburg and Lake Shore, with 1999 P.F. certificate
