30c Blue & Carmine, Re-Issue (131). Essentially perfect centering with wide margins, deep rich colors, light registry cancelEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL RE-ISSUE WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED.
SMQ estimates that approximately 40 are known used. Our experience has been that many are either off-center or have small faults.
With 2010 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $23,000.00). Only one other shares this grade, and none has graded higher.
