2c Carmine Lake, Booklet Pane of Six (634e). Rich color which is significantly darker than the normal Carmine shade, purple "Los Angeles Calif. Apr. 7, 1944" registered circular datestamp cancels, Very Fine and choice, an extremely rare intact used booklet pane in the Carmine Lake shade, it is possible that the Carmine Lake shade is from a slightly later printing and that a different mixture of ink was used
