2c 1894-98 Bureau Issue (248/252, 265/267, 279Bc/279Bi). 21 used stamps, includes eight unwatermarked, six from first watermarked group, seven from later Type IV issue, each a distinctly different shade, virtually complete for Scott-listed incl. major numbers and sub-numbers such as 250a, 250b, 252a, 267a, 267c, 279Bc (with 2001 P.S.E. certificate), centering varies from gorgeous to acceptable, Very Fine-Extremely Fine, an extremely difficult group of shades to assemble, the owner offered several dealers and collectors first $5,000 and then $10,000 to assemble an Extremely Fine set of these shades and none could do so
