1850's Valentines (9, 10A). Four large Valentine covers, each approximately 10 x 8 inches, first two blue covers with elaborate floral and bird designs in gold, franked with 1c Blue, Ty. IV (9) and 3c Orange Brown, Ty. II (10A) respectively, both with lace enclosures decorated by multi-colored floral designs glued on, Very Fine and desirable pair of Valentines with 1851 issue stamps, also two stampless Valentine covers of approximately the same size, one with blue "PAID 6" straightline with rate in manuscript, other due "2 Cents", both with staining or toning, appear Fine
