W. Wilson Hulme Color Study of 3c 1851 Issue by Year (11-11A). Mounted on three typed index cards, first with four stamps and a cover in the late 1851 Experimental Orange Brown shades from Plate 1L (Scott 11A), other two cards trace the Brownish Carmine, Claret and Red shades from 1852-57 (11-11A), only one pen cancel in the group, some with margins slightly in and few small flaws but overall attractive appearance with vibrant shades
