1899, 2c Rose, Imperforate Horizontally (81b). Vertical block of six with mostly complete "(AME)RICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY, NEW YORK" imprint at bottom, original gum (slight glazing in spots), centered Fine-Very Fine, two tiny shallow thins and slight toning, virtually all in top right stamp and quite faintTHE LARGEST RECORDED MULTIPLE AND THE ONLY IMPRINT BLOCK THAT SURVIVES FROM THE ONE PANE OF THE 1894 2-CENT PICTORIAL ISSUED WITHOUT HORIZONTAL PERFORATIONS.
According to www.hawaiianstamps.com, the 2c 1894 Pictorial was printed and perforated in sheets of 200, arranged in four panes of 50, and only one pane of 50 was issued. The top imprint pair in the Honolulu Advertiser sale proves that this is the only imprint block that can possibly exist.
