Sale 1025, Lot 295, Confederate StatesBaton Rouge La., 5c Green & Carmine, Maltese Cross Border, "McCcrmick" Error (11X2a). Calhoun Position 7, large margins to just in including part of sheet margin at bottom, tied by neat strike of "Baton Rouge Oct. 15, 1861" circular datestamp which leaves the error clearly visible, on cover to Miss Kittie Mort, care of Dr. Blackburn, Vernon Miss., missing top flap, slight edgewear, light horizontal file fold affects stamp which has tiny part of design touched up at upper left

4) Feb. 3, 1862, to Henry Johnson, Rosedale La., ex Walcott and Agre, offered in lot 294;

5) Oct. 15, 1861, to Miss Kittie Mort, Vernon Miss., ex Duveen, the cover offered here;

6) Aug. 29, 1861, to Capt. Favrot, Ocean Springs Miss., ex Caspary;

7) Feb. 4, 1862, to C.R. Collins, Bayou Sara La., Siegel 1991 Rarities sale.
