3c Brownish Carmine, Shade Study (11-11A). 120 stamps neatly arranged on two-line stock cards, many plated, mostly Plates 1L, 2L and 3, beautiful range of shades from the Brownish Carmine family, covering pale to deep, most with at least intact framelines and many with full to large margins, all with handstamp cancels, a few flaws to be found but most are fresh and sound, Very Fine group -- a few of which may be open to interpretation, a wonderful group for study
