Howell Cobb at the Southern Convention, Montgomery, with Charleston S.C. Feb. 5 double-circle datestamp (second day of Confederacy), other two Augusta Ga. Mar. 21 and Rome Ga. Feb. 12 datestamps, final cover is a 3c Star Die entire with "Richmond Jul. 18, 1861" circular datestamp and "Paid 5cts." two-line handstamp (the U.S. entire paid no postage), two of the No. 26 covers incl. the Cobb cover roughly opened at top, interesting group
