Nine covers or folded letters, incl. four Kenyon's Letter Office, New York, mostly clear strikes of red oval handstamp to Bridgeport, Louisville, Boston and Franklin (N.H.), latter two with "U.S. Express Mail N.Y. N. York Aug 30" and "Jun 26" circular datestamps (1849), attractive group with the local and express combinations, also Putnam's Penny Post, Fitchburg Mass, Stait's Despatch Post/Adams Exp'ss, Boyd's City Express (a bit tattered), Philadelphia Despatch Post and California Penny Post San Francisco, some flaws to be found but overall a Fine-Very Fine group, most ex Hahn
