Clearly-defined grill, tied by bold strike of large circle of wedges on cover originating in St. Thomas D.W.I. and addressed to Winchester Mass., neat "St. Thomas 14/6 1868" circular datestamp, bold "Due 7" handstamp, back of cover with blue "Forwarded by G.W. Smith & Co., St. Thomas W.I." oval handstamp and "New-York Jun. 20" datestamp, carried on the Merrimack, Very Fine, scarce, this may be the only use of the 3c D Grill from St. Thomas
