Jun. 12" circular datestamp on slightly reduced blue 1856 folded letter to Marburg, Germany, red "New York Br. Pkt. Paid 7 Jun. 16" credit datestamp, red framed "Aachen 30/6 Franco" transit datestamp, scissors-cut between right stamps in strip, few flaws incl. scotch tape mends inside, appears Fine, unusual use, the Prussian Closed Mail rate was only 30c, but the sender in Wisconsin might have been confused about how much to prepay, ex Gibson and Mayer, with 1982 P.F. certificate
