1c Blue, Ty. II (7). Three slightly overlapping singles, beautiful rich color, tied together by manuscript "Hallowell" town name applied as a cancellation, blue "Hallowell Me. Oct. 20" circular datestamp on blue cover to Brunswick Me., with 1852 enclosure, the stamps have small faults visible under close examination, otherwise Very Fine, although town postmarks were commonly applied in manuscript, the use of the town name as a cancel in conjunction with the handstamped town marking is extremely unusual
