5c Red Brown (1). Rich color, full margins all around, tied by perfectly struck blue "Marion Ala. Sep. 19" circular datestamp, with second strike to left on folded cover to Cahawba Ala., cover defective at left with repair, still Very Fine appearance and extremely rare, this is the only known 5c 1847 use from Marion Ala., which received only 300 5c and 100 10c stamps
