Tied by "2240" lozenge on folded letter datelined "Boston 28 May 1866" and addressed to Hong Kong, China, large blue rectangular "Forwarded by Rabaud Brothers & Co. Marseilles", neat "Marseilles 11 Juin 66" double-circle datestamp where entered the mails, red boxed "PD" handstamp, receiving backstamp, light horizontal file fold does not affect stamp, the stamp barely affected from placement at edge of cover, Very Fine appearance, unusual use, carried outside of the mails to France thence from Marseilles to Hong Kong, with 2001 Sismondo certificate, signed Calves
