3c Dull Red, Ty. II, III (11A, 26). Two covers with ms. steamboat markings, first No. 11A ample to full margins, pen-cancelled with matching "Steamer GM Relf" written in a different hand from the address and so most likely applied by the route agent, on cover to New Orleans, Very Fine, second cover with No. 26, pen-cancelled, on June 1860 way bill to Urbana Va. via Chesapeake Bay and Rappahannock River, endorsed via schooner Mary Anna, ms "Steam Boat 2 cts. due" (in error as the 2c fee was eliminated in April 1855 and not reinstated until 1861), cover forwarded to Saluda Va. with no additional forwarding postage charged, interesting and unusual use
