"25" rate, some slight wear, Very Fine, scarce use from Michigan Territory, second "NEW YORK" straightline handstamp (part strike) with bold "24/NO" Franklin mark struck on bottom flap of 1773 folded letter to Philadelphia, ms. "1/-" and "2" (dwt) rates, some wear incl. vertical file fold, still Very Fine example of this British Colonial marking, last "BALTIMORE" straightline handstamp (part strike) on bottom flap of folded letter datelined "Balto. 2d July 1774" and addressed to Philadelphia, ms. "1/4" and "2 16" (2dwt 16gr) rates, cleaned and silked, otherwise Fine, attractive group
