One folded letter and one folded cover, both addressed to the Collector of Revenue in New Haven Conn., free franked by Ephraim Kirby and John Chester respectively, both veterans of the Battle of Bunker Hull, first also with "Litchfield May 10" rimless circular datestamp, Very Fine, according to Wikipedia, Kirby was a Revolutionary War soldier, published the first volume of law reports in the United States, was the first General High Priest of the Royal Arch Masons of the United States and was the first judge of the Superior Court of the Mississippi Territory, Chester was a prominent Revolutionary war soldier and rose to colonel in the Continental Army
