FRENCH COLONIES, 1859, 10c Bister on Yellowish, 40c Orange on Yellowish (3, 5). Single of each, beautifully tied by dark blue "SNG" (Senegal) in diamond of dots, matching "Senegal Et Depces St. Louis 28 Juil 65" double-circle datestamp, regular rate on small neat blue cover to France, 40c stamp also tied by red double-circle datestamp which appears to be dated August 1863, nearly two years earlier, red boxed "PD", Very Fine, an attractive and intriguing cover
