FRANCE, 1853, 40c Orange on Yellowish, Ty. I (18, 18 var; Yvert 16, 16b). Two distinctly different shades, huge margins to just in, tied by "CECA" lozenges, "Corps. Exp. Chine 14 Mars 62" double-circle datestamp on cover to Auch, France, transit and receiving backstamps, missing top flap, edge tear at right and some overall wear, still Very Fine and very scarce usage, small magenta handstamp at lower right
