Horizontal pair, large margins to full, tied by targets, red "Montreal JU 24, 1852" circular datestamp on light blue cover to Walpole N.H., red "Canada" in arc, faint trace of gum on face (stamps probably partly lifted to confirm identification)VERY FINE. AN ATTRACTIVE USAGE OF A PAIR OF THE CANADA 3-PENCE ORANGE VERMILION SHADE ON A COVER TO THE UNITED STATES.
