III (24, 26), single of each, tied by "New York Jan. 11" Ocean Mail circular datestamp on cover to Managua, Nicaragua, franked to pay the 34c British mail rate via St. Thomas though actually sent via American Packet Direct (10c), cover with small repaired tear at top left, 30c with minute scuffFINE APPEARANCE. POSSIBLY A UNIQUE USE OF THE NEW YORK OCEAN MAIL DATESTAMP ON THE 30-CENT 1860 ISSUE.
