Positions 8-9R1L, horizontal pair, left stamp recut twice at bottom, right stamp recut once at bottom (eleven and eight such recuts on plate respectively), enormous margins all around including parts of all four adjoining stamps, two strikes of town cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb pair in the finest attainable quality, both of these positions produced Type Ib stamps (Scott 5A) on the early state of the plate and still retain many of their earlier characteristics, Scott Retail as singles
