THIS STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT PERF 10 PANAMA-PACIFIC ISSUE IS GRADED GEM 100 BY P.S.E. -- THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED AND THE ONLY EXAMPLE TO ACHIEVE IT.
Ex Dr. DeBroff. With 2010 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $3,250.00). This is the highest grade awarded and it is the only example to achieve it. SMQ value is far too low, especially given the low Population Report numbers at the highest grades. We sold the only example graded 98 Jumbo for $15,500 hammer in 2010 (as the highest grade awarded at the time), and the last example graded 98 we sold (population of five) brought more than the SMQ value of this 100.

THIS IS WITHOUT QUESTION ONE OF THE FINEST MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLES OF THE 5-CENT PERF 10 PANAMA-PACIFIC ISSUE. THIS MAGNIFICENT STAMP IS GRADED SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY P.S.E. -- THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED.
Ex Dr. DeBroff. With 1983 P.F. and 2009 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $3,850.00 in no way reflects its true rarity -- the SMQ value for a 98 is only $250.00 less than this). This is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only two others, a statistic that has not changed since 2009. We have offered only one of the others, which realized $10,000 hammer in 2017

With 2002 P.F. and 2014 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, Gem 100; SMQ $2,850.00). This is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only two other hinged stamps

Slightly disturbed original gum described on accompanying certificate as "disturbed o.g.", intense color and impression on bright paper, beautiful centering with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2015 P.S.E. certificate (DOG, Superb 98 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ in this gum condition, SMQ $2,400.00 as previously hinged), the gum call is a bit harsh in our opinion
