15c, 30c 1869 Pictorial, Balance (118, 121). Three stamps with an unusual characteristic, first No. 118 with vignette shifted strongly to bottom, bold strike of "New Orleans La. Apr. 26" (1869) circular datestamp, also with red transit cancel at bottom right, Fine, second No. 118 with target cancel and double perforations at bottom, small thin spot in grill, Very Fine appearance, an unusual variety, finally No. 121 with Double Grill, One Split, centered to top right, clear second grill which is split vertically, bold cork cancel, pulled perf at bottom, tiny tear at top left, otherwise Fine, a very rare variety, this is the only one we have offered since keeping computerized records, ex Sheriff and Wagshal, with 1986 and 2010 P.F. certificates, Scott Retail with the two 15c as normal and the 30c as Double Grill
15c-24c 1869 Pictorial, Roosevelt Small Die Proofs (119P2, 129P2, 120P2, 121P2). Four proofs removed from their card backing (or remainders that were never on cards), both 15c types present, fresh colors, Very Fine, since it is very difficult to remove the Roosevelt proofs from their card backing without causing wrinkling or more severe damage (and these are all sound), it seems possible that these were never in the presentation albums to begin with, each with 2016 P.F. certificate
15c Brown & Blue, Ty. II (119). Remarkably well-centered, extra wide margins and deep rich colors, light circle of "V's" cancel, Extremely Fine, with 1985 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; SMQ $725.00)

This stamp has the color and impression of the true Scott 121a variety, not the Double Paper/Without Grill.
