10c Green, Ty. I (13). Position 91R1, unused (no gum), large to huge margins including left sheet margin with centerline, rich color, small corner crease at top right, lightly cleaned to remove soilingEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE UNUSED CENTERLINE MARGIN EXAMPLE OF THE IMPERFORATE 1855 10-CENT TYPE I.

10c Green, Ty. I (13). Unused (no gum), huge margins to barely touched at upper right, rich color, natural inclusion and tiny thin spot at top rightFINE APPEARANCE. A SCARCE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 1855 10-CENT IMPERFORATE TYPE I.
Type I stamps come only from the bottom 20 positions of the plate. They are the only stamps to show the design complete at bottom. For some reason the sheet margin at bottom was often trimmed away, leaving a dearth of examples that show the full type-defining shells.

No. 14 Position 31L1 with double transfer, circular datestamp cancel, Very Fine and choice, with 2002 P.F. and 2020 P.S.E. certificates (VF 80; double transfers unpriced in SMQ), No. 15 with huge margins including right sheet margin with centerline, tiny tear at bottom left far from the stamp design could be trimmed leaving a large margin, but its presence affected the grade, Extremely Fine, with clear 1993 and 2000 P.F. certificates, with 2020 P.S.E. certificate mentioning the margin tear (VF 80 Jumbo)
10c Green, Ty. II/III (14-15). Positions 17/27R1, vertical pair with top stamp Type II and bottom stamp Type III, large to huge margins, intense color, "New Orleans La. Sep. 24, 1857" circular datestamp cancel, Extremely Fine, scarce in this choice quality, ex Dr. LeBow, with 1982 and 2004 P.F. certificates, Scott value of $310.00 for a combination pair does not convey the value of this Gem

Unused (no gum), large to huge margins including significant portion of adjoining stamp at left, bright shade, tiny toned spots and tiny discolored spots at top left have been expertly removed after certificate was issued, otherwise Extremely Fine, with 2002 P.F. certificate

10c 1855 Type IV stamps are defined by the recut of one or both outer lines at the top or bottom of the design. Type IV stamps come from only seven scattered positions on the left pane and one position on the right pane of Plate 1. Therefore, only 4% of the stamps from Plate 1 are Type IV.
With 2019 P.S.E. certificate (VF 80; SMQ $15,000.00). Only two unused Scott 16s are graded in the P.S.E. Population Report. The other is XF 90 with original gum

10c 1855 Type IV stamps are defined by the recut of one or both outer lines at the top or bottom of the design. Type IV stamps come from only seven scattered positions on the left pane and one position on the right pane of Plate 1. Therefore, only 4% of the stamps from Plate 1 are Type IV. Most surviving unused example tend to have margins either close or into the design. The example offered here, with four huge margins, is a great rarity.
