CANADA, 1959, 5c Seaway Invert (387a; SG 513a). Mint N.H., wonderfully well-centered, rich colors, free of the faults that often plague this stampEXTREMELY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE DESIRABLE CANADA SEAWAY INVERT.
The St. Lawrence Seaway provided for passage from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes. It was a collaboration between the United States and Canada. This is portrayed by the usage of the Bald Eagle and Maple Leaf, each national symbols, in rings together. Therefore, this is the key stamp of Canada for a collector of bird topicals.
