10c Green, Ty. I (13). Large margins incl. bottom sheet margin, bright color, unobtrusive town cancel and blue cancel at bottomEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL SHEET-MARGIN EXAMPLE OF THE 1855 10-CENT TYPE I.
The 10c Type I stamps are defined as having complete scrolls at bottom. They are only found on the bottom row of the plate (20 positions). For some reason, they were usually trimmed at bottom when they were separated, leaving a dearth of quality copies. This example, with its large bottom margin, is an extreme exception to the rule.
With 2013 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90 Jumbo; SMQ $1,450.00 as 90, $2,475.00 as 95). We have no idea why this stamp did not receive the well-deserved grade of 95 (or 95J).

A BEAUTIFUL USED PAIR OF THE 12-CENT 1851 ISSUE ON VERY THIN PAPER.
The thin papers are often associated with Part India. The Part India is described by Ashbrook as "undoubtedly from the very first impressions from the Twelve Cent plate. The engravings are very sharp and resemble die proofs or plate proofs on India."
Ex Waterhouse, Meyersburg, Koppersmith and Mayer. With 1979 and 2002 P.F. certificates. Scott Catalogue has just listed this variety for the first time, starting with the 2012 U.S. Specialized Catalogue. Scott Retail as singles.
12c Black (17). Position 51R1, huge margins all around incl. left sheet margin and significant part of adjoining stamp at right, bright shade, crisp impression, neat strike of grid cancel, tiny corner crease at bottom left far from design, which is why it was not mentioned on P.F. certificate, even if one millimeter of the left margin were trimmed to remove tiny corner crease it would still be an Extremely Fine Gem (XF-Superb 95 in our opinion), with 1984 P.F. certificate as sound and 2013 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90 Jumbo; SMQ $575.00 as 90, $1,175.00 as 95)
