Plate Blocks, Zip Blocks, Blocks of Four, 1930's -1990's. Massive mint collection housed in more than a dozen boxes, every block contained in a separate glassine and organized in rows, approx. half are plate blocks, also "Zip" blocks, "Mail Early" blocks, plain blocks of four, one box of singles on stock pages, three Lighthouse Albums with mint singles, a box of miscellaneous postage, a box of hundreds of unused entires and a few foreign plate blocks, much duplication within issues, a thorough count of numbers and face would take days but we estimate that there are more than 20,000 blocks plus the other unused stamps and entires, with face alone of more than $16,000 (with some items worth more than face), including a group of higher denominations in larger format blocks of 16, we recommend viewing and the buyer must carry the lot out, a Very Fine and valuable hoard, for many decades this dedicated collector harvested every plate and other format block from the sheets of postage used by his large family owned business

Dealer's Stockbook. Probably a couple thousand items in an expandable black Elbe stock book, not too much early with just some 3c 1861's and 67's, 1869 Pictorial with 1c-12c with two or more of each, Bank Notes generally the 1c-3c, few Columbian, Bureaus, strong from 1908 on with singles, blocks and occasional plate blocks, once again, generally lower denominations in quantity, starts to get better around 1915 with some attractive 1917-19 material, decent 1922-25 Issue, 1931 30c and 50c plate blocks, 1930's Souvenir Sheets and Parks in quantity, other issues too numerous to mention also in quantity, there are a few flat plate coil pairs that we question and are not figured in our evaluation, much of the twentieth century is Mint N.H. and overall with the exception of the early part this is a nice clean Fine-Very Fine stock
