Unused Cut Square Collection, 1853-1992. Approximately 550 different mounted in Scott Specialty album, incl. partial First Issue, lacks about ten between Nos. U34 to U118, complete Plimptons and only four missing between U324 to U449, some Surcharges, Air Post complete less couple recent and over 30 different Officials, there are probably 40 to 50 individual items that catalog from $100.00 to around $400.00 each with one at $500.00, the most valuable is No. U487 that unfortunately has a few light toned spots, there are a couple of misidentifications having to do with paper color but otherwise all others seem to be properly attributed, virtually fault-free and while a few are Fine only, the vast majority are Very Fine with a few better, an excellent foundation collection for expansion in this interesting collecting area, the owner has done all the work finding the less expensive items so the new owner has only to concentrate on locating the more expensive, approximate Scott Retail
