Original gum, two h.r. across perforations between seals (though perfs do not appear to be in need of reinforcement), one corner slightly clipped, Very Fine and choice, an extremely rare example of this distinctive typeset variety, only one recorded by Kotanchik, though this appears to be a different example from the one pictured in book (p. 209), Scott Retail for normal pair with dot after "Officially" is $1,750.00

One of former, two of latter, original gum, No. LOX12 Type I with undamaged frame, one No. LOX13 with slight gum soak at top and small thin, also much better centered than usual as the other known examples are centered strongly left, other No. LOX13 h.r., tiny thin spot, despite moderate catalog value both seals are very scarce, with seven and four unused examples known respectively (Kotanchik, p. 212-213)

Black on Blue, Petaluma Cal. Typeset Seal (LOX22). Original gum, paper h.r., vertical crease at left, otherwise very freshTHIS IS THE UNIQUE LISTING EXAMPLE OF THE PETALUMA TYPESET SEAL. A GREAT RARITY AND ONE OF THE KEYS TO A COMPLETE OFFICIAL SEAL COLLECTION.
It is not known exactly when this seal was produced, but it cannot have been before 1904 as the Petaluma Cal. post office was not opened until July of that year.
Ex. Lyons. Illustrated and described in detail in Kotanchik (p. 222). Illustrated in Scott Catalogue where noted, "No. LOX22 is unique. It is creased and valued as such."

"Rec'd open", small part of Mass. circular datestamp (presumably Northfield), thin spot, Very Fine appearance, the unique listing example of the larger format Northfield Mass. typeset, a great rarity of official seal collecting, ex Lyons, illustrated and described in detail in Kotanchik (p. 223-224), illustrated in Scott Catalogue where noted, "No. LOX26 used is valued with small fault", despite being the unique listing example it curiously has a lower Scott Retail value than its smaller format Northfield predecessor, No. LOX25, of which at least three are known (and all have faults)
