1c Buff (112). Beautifully centered and cancelled by a rare green town datestamp, choice fresh colorEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS IS PROBABLY THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE WITH A GREEN CANCEL IN EXISTENCE.
This stamp is remarkable for its outstanding color, centering, impression and the cancel.

2c Brown (113). Huge Jumbo margins and perfectly centered, fresh color, neat target cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2006 P.F. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $880.00)
6c Ultramarine (115). Wide margins, deep rich color on bright paper, bold strike of 5-point Star fancy cancel and also part of red cancel at bottom right, Very Fine, with 1998 P.F. certificate
12c Green (117). Well-proportioned margins, intense shade and proof-like impression, unobtrusive strike of blue cancel, fresh and Extremely Fine, small blue backstamp, with 2000 P.F. certificate

15c Brown & Blue, Ty. II, Center Inverted (119b). Deep rich colors, unusually choice centering for this difficult invertVERY FINE. AN EXCEPTIONALLY CHOICE AND RARE SOUND USED EXAMPLE OF THE 15-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL INVERT. THE COLORS ARE RICH AND DEEP, AND THE TARGET CANCEL LEAVES MOST OF THE VIGNETTE CLEARLY VISIBLE. ONLY 93 COPIES ARE RECORDED IN OUR CENSUS.
Our census of 1869 Inverts, published in the February 1999 Chronicle and updated with three new stamps, contains 93 examples of the 15c Invert, including three unused and 90 used (one in the British Library's Tapling collection).

24c Green & Violet, Center Inverted (120b). Rich colors, light cork cancel red circular datestamp which allow the vignette to be clearly seenFINE. A RARE SOUND EXAMPLE OF THE 24-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE INVERT, WHICH IS ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE BY VIRTUE OF THE RED COLORED CANCEL. ONLY 89 EXAMPLES OF THE 24-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL INVERT ARE RECORDED IN OUR CENSUS.
Our published 1869 Invert census (with unpublished updates) contains 89 copies of the perforated 24c Invert, including four unused stamps and used multiples. Excluding the unused singles, used block and used pair, there are perhaps 15 sound singles. The example offered here is particularly desirable by virtual of the colored cancel.
