Wm. E. Clarke, 3c Blue, Watermarked (RS56d). Huge margins and choice centering, rich color, Extremely Fine example of this wonderful and macabre design, one of the stamps from the 1998 "Celebrate the Century" sheets was based on this design (Scott No. 3182f), ex Salmansohn

Dalley's Galvanic Horse Salve, 2c Green, Silk Paper (RS73b). Beautifully centered, stained top left corner and also a bit in perfs at top, otherwise Very Fine example of this popular design
Dalley's Magical Pain Extractor, 1c Black, Old Paper, "$100" Instead of $1.00 (RS74ah). Thins and faint crease, appears Fine, only 27 are recorded in the Aldrich census of which at least 17 have faults
S. B. Hartman & Co., 4c Black, Old Paper (RS99a). Scissors-separated with perfs trimmed, intact perfs at top, thin and light vertical crease, Fine appearance, only 26 recorded in the Aldrich census, most of which are off-center and faulty, ex "World Traveler", with 2021 P.F. certificate
(Dr.) S. B. Hartman & Co., 6c Black, Silk Paper (RS100b). Centered to bottom right, about Fine, only 57 are recorded in the Aldrich census and it is relatively scarce in sound condition
A. L. Helmbold's, 2c Blue, Pink Paper (RS110c). Three wide margins, bright color, small thin spot, appears Very Fine
John F. Henry, 2c Violet, Old Paper (RS112a). Bright color, faults including large sealed tear and thins, presentable appearance and actually quite typical for this — usually one of the most faulty Match & Medicine stamps encountered — only 34 recorded in Aldrich census
J. E. Hetherington, 2c Black, USIR Watermark (RS120d). Attractive centering and margins, tiny thin spot and slightly nibbed perf at right, appears Very Fine, a collectible example of this scarce stamp, only 36 are recorded in Aldrich book, with 2012 P.F. certificate only mentioning the thin spot
S. D. Howe, 4c Red, Silk Paper (RS135b). Vibrant color, Very Fine, only one sheet of this scarce stamp was ever printed and it was never used, 41 are recorded in the Aldrich census
S. D. Howe, 4c Green, Silk Paper (RS136b). Bright color, few blunted perfs, otherwise Fine, only 38 recorded in the Aldrich census
James A. Jackson & Co., 4c Green, Old Paper (RS143a). Rich color, faults including small tear, tiny hole at left and light creases, otherwise Fine, a scarce stamp in any condition with only 20 recorded in Aldrich book, the majority of which are faulty
Alvah Littlefield, 4c Green, Old Paper (RS165a). Dark color, centered to left, straight edge at bottom, thin and nibbed perf at left, otherwise Fine, only 21 are recorded in the Aldrich census and many have perfs into the design, are faulty or both, every copy we have offered of this rarity has faults to some degree, some quite severe
T. W. Marsden, 4c Black, Old Paper (RS176a). Multiple small thin spots, otherwise Fine, only 40 are recorded in the Aldrich census and approximately half are potentially sound (and probably less)
Bennett Pieters & Co., 4c Black, Old Paper (RS191a). Short perfs at right and small tear, otherwise Fine, only 41 are recorded in the Aldrich census and we have not encountered a sound example
J. E. Schwartz & Co., 1c Lake, Silk Paper (RS215b). Huge margins all around, vibrant color on fresh paper, Extremely Fine, the eagle vignette on the J.E. Schwartz issue was used on a number of obsolete bank notes of the period, as well as the U.S. Carrier Issue, Scott LO2
