2c Green (3). Block of four, three stamps Mint N.H., only the top right stamp lightly hinged, fresh color, ample even margins all aroundVERY FINE AND CHOICE. A FRESH AND BEAUTIFUL BLOCK OF THE 2-CENT GREEN LITHOGRAPH, WITH THREE MINT NEVER-HINGED STAMPS.
A Power Search review found many blocks of four of this issue, but nearly every one we have offered has a fault. This sound block is a notable exception.

5c Blue, Stone 3 (4). Rich color, large even margins, complementary strike of blue double-circle datestamp, Extremely Fine, a lovely example from Stone 3, with 2003 P.F. certificate

The defining characteristic of Scott 10 is the frameline between the stamps. The lines were engraved on the plate and served as a guide for the siderographer when aligning the transfers to make the plate. Each stamp shares framelines with the adjoining positions, so four-frameline copies are exceedingly rare.

Margins which are large enough to show four full framelines but the framelines are slightly enhanced with ink that has oxidized to black (was blue in photo on 2009 certificate), pastel color, Charlestown Va. circular datestamp, faintly toned in area of ear and neck, faintly scuffed on the throat, Extremely Fine appearance, signed Dietz and accompanied by his note, with 2009 and 2019 P.F. certificates -- the former issued before the frameline enhancements oxidized to black (and not mentioned)
10c Greenish Blue, Frameline (10b). Unused (no gum), framelines on all sides and showing part of adjacent stamp at left, light horizontal crease and small thin spotsEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A SCARCE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES 10-CENT FRAMELINE ISSUE IN THE GREENISH BLUE SHADE.
